Made in the USA since 2017
Inspiration for our line is drawn from life on the water, maritime tradition and the landscape here in Maine.
Made from retired sails, cotton canvas and natural leather, our bags are perfect for both boat and seaside life.
All our goods are handmade with the earth in mind. Designed and finished in our studio in Maine and stitched in a small low-waste, living wage factory in North Carolina.
Retired sails are sourced from along the Eastern Seaboard and across the Great Lakes. The retired sails from working boats are collected, cut, cleaned and sewn into our one of a kind repurposed sailcloth bags.
Our 15 oz. cotton canvas is made from natural fibers, and is super sturdy for long-lasting bags that can be well loved and passed down.
VEGETABLE TANNED LEATHER
The vegetable tanning process creates leather hides both durable and full of character, the leather gains a beautiful, natural patina over time.
The straps on our bags are cut from leather produced in the USA naturally with limited environmental impact. Our leather comes from an eco-friendly tannery in Pennsylvania.
Our straps are all edge beveled, burnished and sealed for a finish to last a lifetime.
