SAILCLOTH

At Eighth Belle, we produce sustainable goods for everyday slow living.

We use repurposed sailcloth for many of our products. Sailcloth is a lightweight, water resistant and durable material. Our sails are collected, cleaned and re-worked into one of a kind beautiful pieces.

All our goods are handmade in a solar powered studio in Kingston, NY.

RETIRED SAILCLOTH

Sails retired from working boats are collected, cut, cleaned and sewn into our one of a kind repurposed sailcloth bags.

Sails are lightweight, strong, and water resistant,  making the perfect material for durable and versatile goods long after their job on the boat is complete.

NATURAL LEATHER

The straps on our bags are cut from leather produced in the USA naturally with limited environmental impact.

The vegetable tanning process creates leather hides both durable and full of character, the leather gains a beautiful, natural patina over time.
